GUARD AGAINST THE DECEPTION OF THIS AGE

Key Verse:

"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you."

— Matthew 24:4;

Brethren, it is evidently true that the wind of deception is blowing strongly in the world today and many people have been caught and swept away from the truth of GOD.

The LORD, who desires the salvation of mankind by HIS mercy and love, is alerting us to be on our guard against the devastating dangers of being deceived.

Before the LORD JESUS answered the disciples' questions about the end time events concerning the temple in Jerusalem, the signs of HIS Coming and the signs of the end of the world, HE quickly cautions them against deception.

The wicked one and the evil forces of this world have been using deception as a destructive tool from the beginning against humanity. And, its usage has rather been heightened in our time causing many people to sway from the light and truth of JESUS.

Sadly, several men and women, including Christians, have been plunged into diverse perversions such as polygamy, homosexuality, polytheism, satanic inventions, addictions, drunkeness, murders, violence, immoralities, and all kinds of wickedness. They are no longer mindful of the way of life in CHRIST, Salvation, Sanctification, Eternity and the fearful Judgement of GOD, fulfilling the Scripture, "... for truth is fallen in the street,".

This ought not be so in our lives, Beloved.

Let us abide in Christ and HIS Words, being watchful in prayers, putting on the whole armour of GOD and warning others to flee from the wrath to come.

May the LORD JESUS CHRIST keep us in HIS Word now and forevermore!
