THE GREATER VICTORY
Pill Of The Day: THE GREATER VICTORY
Key Verses:
“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
"And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
"Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
— Luke 10:17-20 KJV
1 John 5:4 shows how we can partake in this victory by regeneration. Every specific species functions as its own. Man functions according to nature of man. So to function by nature of GOD, man has to be reborn as a different species(as a new creation with the nature of GOD), then shall we function as a new man by the word of GOD which lives and abides forever. The regenerated man is able to have the nature of GOD as demonstrated by 1 John 3:9.
In Revelation 2:11, 17, 26 and Ch 3:5, 12, 21, the overcomers are refered to those that by the grace of GOD overcame sin, Satan and the flesh; this is the greater victory we all are striving to be a part of.
May we all sing the songs of the overcomers up there in JESUS' name
