WHEN THE SON IS LIFTED UP…

Key Verses:

“28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.”

How much or how earnestly do we long to live life and attain Eternal Life as well?

Then, we need to lift THE NAME of our LORD JESUS CHRIST up. For all Power—in HEAVEN, on earth, under the earth—are subject to THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS.

And when HE, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, is lifted up, our lives will never remain the same.

Even as after four whole days, dead Lazarus had life because of JESUS, so do we have hope of life, even Life Eternal, because of HIM.

For JESUS is our only LIFE, and LIGHT and THE KEY to Eternal Life, as verse 20 of Deuteronomy 30 makes us understand (Deuteronomy 30:15-20).

If we lift HIM up, we will never be put to shame and people will wonder and marvel what our secret is.

And the secret? Just as the serpent was lifted up in the wilderness by Moses based on GOD’S Instructions giving healing to all who looked thereon, even so, “let us look to JESUS”. (John 3:14-16)
