TRUSTING GOD AGAINST ALL ODDS

ree

GOD has to stack the odds against us so we will not look to ourselves, but to HIM. GOD does not want us to think that we can save ourselves but to depend completely on HIM.

Ironically, when things look impossible, we can be tempted to not look to GOD at all. We conclude by saying, “It's impossible!”

GOD's ways are always higher than our ways. Abraham’s story is a typical example of trusting GOD against all odds. Romans 4:18 (KJV) says, “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”

Beloved, GOD loves you no matter your flaws. HE wants to work on you. All you need to do is to avail yourself: whatever mistakes you have made, whatever failures, whatever shame, whatever you’ve been through, HE is the GOD of time and chance.

Beloved, HE is still your GOD so proceed confidently to HIS Throne of Grace and Mercy. When we understand disappointment and suffering as tools in GOD’s loving hands to grow and shape our faith, we can take joy in GOD's work in our lives.

Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 KJV:

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”

Amid an order from Pharaoh to murder newborn Hebrew boys, Moses' mother placed him in a basket along the side of the river, staging her daughter there to observe. The Egyptian king's daughter saw the baby and had pity.

Thanks to the presence of Moses' sister, the princess ended up paying Moses' own mother to wean him. Moses eventually became the son of Pharoah’s daughter and was raised in the same palace where the king issued a command for all Hebrew boys to be killed.

What GOD cannot do, does not exist.

Haman plotted to kill Mordecai as well as wipe out all the Jews but the table turned against the former. When the King asked Haman what was to be done unto the man whom the king delighted to honour, Haman thought in his heart, “To whom would the king delight to honour more than to myself?” He replied to the King by saying:

Esther 6:8-12:

8 “Let the royal apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head:

9 And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour

10 Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.

11 Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.

12 And Mordecai came again to the king's gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.”

Beloved, let us keep trusting in GOD for whatever HE has purposed concerning our lives will definitely come to pass no matter how impossible it might seem.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are called according to HIS purpose.

Keep trusting GOD against all odds.

GOD richly bless you.

Amen!!! In Hebrews 11:6, which states that "without faith it is impossible to please him."This verse emphasizes the importance of trusting in God. Faith is trusting in God even though you can't see him. It's believing in his promises and following his will.

* Faith is the foundation of a relationship with God. Just like any relationship, trust is essential. By having faith, you're demonstrating your trust in God.

God bless H.S.M!!!!
