THE LIFTED JESUS CHRIST HAS SETTLED ALL OUR DEBTS

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”

“1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

The LORD has from the previous days delivered us from the deepest dungeon by HIS GRACE. HE did not just come to display power, but to deliver us from all the debts we owed.

What did we do to make GOD adopt us as HIS children and joint heirs with HIM? Undeserving were we indeed but for HIS Grace and Mercies!

Paul had the understanding of the Nature of this Gracious GOD and chose to align himself wholly with HIM.

Do you know who you are, brethren? Are we really children of GOD?

We were the real owners of the inheritance, but because we were ignorant, weak, sinful and babes, the enemy cheated us and took all our properties. The enemy blindfolded us and darkened our understanding of our rightful position.

Until we grow up, the lifted CHRIST cannot do our hearts’ desire. Until we surrender, we will still be indebted to the enemy.

The LORD has purchased us with no perishable thing but with HIS Precious Blood. I can only imagine the kind of love HE has for us. HE left HIS Throne, Position, Kingdom, Crown 👑, Glory and all so HE could pay our debts.

We are no longer like Mephiboseth. He was the heir, but lived as a slave in the hands of Ziba until David changed the equation. (Rom 8:28, Jn. 15:13)

WHAT DEBT HAS THE LIFTED CHRIST PAID FOR US?

• CHRIST’S ultimate ransom for us was to save us from sin and its consequences. (Rom. 6:23)

• Another debt HE has paid for us by way of HIS lifting up was to take our sicknesses away. (Is. 53:5b)

In Matt. 8:1-13, the Centurion did not consider his status but besought JESUS for the healing of his servant. (Matt. 8:14-17, Jn. 10:10, Jer. 17:14)

• Death will have no power over us because the lifted CHRIST has paid the debt of death. (2 Tim. 2:8-13; Heb. 2:14,15)

• HE has paid the debt of poverty. (2 Cor. 8:9)

• Salvation is sure. (Acts 2:21, Rom. 10:9,10)

• And finally, Heaven at last. (Lk. 23:40-43)

So dear ones, what is holding us back from the Uplifted CHRIST? Look unto HIM! Look and Live free of debts.
