Key Verses:
“Praise ye the LORD. Praise GOD in his sanctuary:
praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts:
praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet:
praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance:
praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals:
praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
Praise ye the LORD.”
—Psalm 150:1-6; KJV
Beloved in the LORD, we have all the cause to praise the LORD for HIS mighty acts. Many are the great works of the LORD in our lives, and there is a need to acknowledge them.
Most people overlook the very important things they receive from GOD and focus on their expectations from HIM. Because they have not received their heart's desires, they have concluded that the LORD has not dealt well with them.
But let us pause for a moment and ponder over these:
You have breath; you have the gift of life, so that means you are still existing.
Your eyes see clearly. You don’t struggle to breathe through your nose; No oxygen is placed on you to give your cells the ability to break down food in order to get the energy you need to survive.
You have a mouth that can eat anything you want, as well as chew bones, because you have healthy and strong teeth.
Nobody spoon feeds you because your hands are functioning perfectly well. You are able to lift things up by yourself without any difficulty.
Nobody carries you to bed because your legs are in good condition: you are able to go to bed on your own and get up from bed by yourself. By the Grace of GOD, you are not bedridden with sickness.
If I’m to mention all the functions of the body, I’ll go on and on and on.
Now look beyond that: think about those who do not have these privileges but have their lives at the mercy of others.
Will we be justified if we fail to give praise to GOD?
Indeed, the LORD has been faithful to us, therefore, let everything that hath breath praise the LORD.
Quote: “Every breath you take is a gift of life from the Living GOD.”
