The early believers in Antioch were given the name, 'Christians', because they put on Christ.

The Bible says that, The LORD cannot reign where darkness is. As a Christian, we must do away with all manner of sins and put on Christ so others will see Christ in us.

Even as the Day of our Redemption draweth nigh, will we be found walking in the Light of CHRIST? Will we be found in the image of our SAVIOUR? For we have been called to walk in HIS Steps if we are to make it.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO WEAR OR PUT ON CHRIST?

• We should have pure love—John 15:13; 3:16;

• We ought to have CHRIST’S Servant-hood Nature—Philippians 2:5; John 13:14; The LORD wants us to be lowly.

• We must be Compassionate, even as our LORD demonstrated while on earth—Matthew 9:36;

• Forgiveness, is one virtue of our MASTER—Luke 23:34; Even as HE forgave in the midst of HIS Passion at Calvary, so must we also forgive whenever someone does something wrong against us.

• Humility—Philippians 2:5-8; The LORD wants us to be humble from within our hearts.

• Righteousness—Heb. 1:9; He was without sin. He therefore wants us to love righteousness and hate iniquity.

•      Long-suffering—Isaiah 53:7-8;

•      He is pure—1 John 3:3; 1 Peter 2:22; John 14:30;

Even as that Great Day of Redemption draws nigh, may CHRIST help us to be like HIM.
